Brush Your Teeth

I’ve got a lesson for all you kids out there. By the end of this blog post, I’ll have you convinced that brushing your teeth is the single most important thing in the world. I’m speaking from years of experience and regret, as somebody who avoided brushing their teeth for most of their life. I always told myself that my teeth were fine, so I didn’t need to brush my teeth or ever go to the dentist. And it turns out that I was completely wrong.

Going to the dentist can be scary, but it’s not just something you should do if you have an obvious problem. Preventative dentistry is essential to good mouth health, especially when you’re a kid. When I was younger, I made it so hard for my parents to take me to the dentist that they eventually gave up. That was a big mistake on my part because I’ve got no teeth now!

If only I had gone to the dentist and brushed my teeth, I wouldn’t have to get dental implants around the Bayside area. I’ve been searching for the right dentist, but the perfect one can be hard to find. I even went to one dentist that had clowns practising dentistry! I don’t think I want clown-dentists working on my teeth, but I may not have much of a choice if I can’t find anywhere better.

Don’t be like me, kids. Brush your teeth. Go to the dentist when you’re young. If you don’t, you’ll end up being twenty-eight without any teeth, settling for a dentist that has big clown shoes and a red ball for a nose. Scary stuff. If you don’t want that, do the right thing and listen to your parents when they tell you to brush your teeth.

Most importantly, make sure that you brush your teeth for the right amount of time. Don’t just stick the brush in your mouth and call it a night there! That’s not going to help you at all.
